In July, 2014, SIPC Brazil’s PIS well, the fourth production well in Sapinhoa oilfield, an ultra deep sea sub-salt oilfield in BM-S-9 block of RSB project, went on stream, marking a huge increase of the daily oil output in this oilfield. At this point, SIPC Brazil’s equity oil & gas output arrived at 21,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (including 19,000 barrels of crude oil per day). With the commencement of several more new production wells, SIPC Brazil’s production would see a continuously rapid growth.
In July, 2014, in the last 8 years since the acquisition, SIPC UDM has produced an aggregated volume of 50.47 million tons of crude oil, Sinopec’s equity oil output exceeded 25 million tons.

In June, 2014, the oilfield surface engineering infrastructure of SIPC Kazakhstan in Sagiz block started operation. The exploration and construction work of this engineering project, with a production capacity of 500,000 tons per year, is all about Sinopec’s own efforts, the premier of Sinopec’s oilfield service throughout the whole surface engineering process in the international market. The project is expected to treat 505,000 tons of crude oil, 9.21 million cubic meters of gas and 720,000 cubic meters of waste water annually. It has laid a solid infrastructure basis for the future rapid development in Sagiz block.
