My name is Kasif Raza Akbar come from India. I completed Bachelor of Science (Graduation) from Sikkim Manipal University which is famous for Management course. Presently, I am working as an Administration Assistant in my reputed company the Branch of SINOPEC Nanjing Engineering & Construction Incorporation (SNEI). Administration Department.
I have six years experience in administration department. I started my job from India, New Delhi, as an Administration Assistant in Construction Company and then I reached the UAE, Dubai a multinational company “Six Construct Ltd. LLC” it’s main work infrastructure, construct bridge & road and waste water treatment plant. It’s has 15000 employees from various countries. I joined it on Sep, 2008. I worked in Dubai three years as an Administration Assistant. My job responsibilities were maintains record of new employees, arrange the documents for medical checkup and apply for Labor Card (here called IQAMA).
Before join in SINOPEC, I have known about SINOPEC from internet and newspaper. SINOPEC is the 3rd largest refiner and 4th petrochemicals producer in the world, 2nd largest crude producer in China.
One day I got the advertisement of SINOPEC recruit from India. I went to Royal Travels (India Manpower Agency) attend the interview. I was lucky passed the interview and reached in SINOPEC as an employee on 25/05/2012. First day of my duty, I am a little confused, everything is new for me. First of all, my related supervisor arranged the training for our new employees. I learnt too much things about my company and related to my job. It was very fruitful and knowledgeable class for us. I have known too much thing about our company and camp discipline. I learnt about our Branch of company history of development in Saudi, the information of completed project and under construction projects. Our company came in Saudi on July, 2005. Our company started first experience from Yanbu. It awarded the first projects in Yanbu POLYOLEFIN PROJECT and completed that successfully. Now its main project location is Yanbu and Jubail. It’s already completed ten projects. Eight projects completed in Jubail and two in Yanbu. Five projects are under construction. Three projects are in Jubail and two in Yanbu. Our company has total employees around 3000. China employees have around 2300 and foreign employees around 700 including India, Pakistan, Philippine, Nepal, Bangladesh and Local Saudi etc.
In one month experience, I learnt too many things about our company administration department jobs and responsibilities like- recruit manpower, maintain new employees details, prepare documents for medical checkup and arrangement for meeting and party etc. I am keeping continue concentration to know more job responsibilities.
