中国石化新闻网讯 据《能源年》5月16日新德里报道，印度国营天然气公司GAIL周四宣布，该公司已签署一份合同，将在中央邦建造印度最大的质子交换膜电解器之一，以生产绿色氢。

该装置将安装在GAIL的Vijaipur综合体，每天可利用可再生能源生产4.3吨氢气。

该装置预计将于2023年11月投入使用。

该项目符合印度政府于2021年启动的国家氢能项目，该项目旨在使印度成为区域性绿色氢能中心。

GAIL signs for green hydrogen asset in India

GAIL has signed a contract to build one of India’s largest proton exchange membrane electrolysers in Madhya Pradesh to produce green hydrogen, the Indian state-run gas company announced on Thursday.

The unit will be installed at GAIL’s Vijaipur Complex and will have the capacity to produce 4.3 tonnes of hydrogen per day from renewable energy.

The unit is expected to be commissioned in November 2023.

The project falls in line with the Indian government’s National Hydrogen Mission launched in 2021 that aims to make the country a regional green hydrogen hub.

Cost of the development and contractor were not disclosed.
