"When we think of this wave of ethylene crackers, 18 million metric tons [of additional capacity], even at 3% of that as butadiene, it's a lot of butadiene," Dineen told S&P Global Platts on the sidelines of the American Fuel and Petrochemical Manufacturers' conference. "We think it's going to fundamentally change the global market."
