科威特将在6月底前出口第一批轻质原油

中国石化新闻网讯 据路透社6月6日科威特报道，科威特石油公司（KPC）已将开始生产一种轻质原油并且首批这些新等级原油预计将在六月底出口，科威特石油部长Bakhit al-Rashidi 周三表示。

这可能成为首批由欧佩克海湾生产国出口的轻质等级原油，同时身为KPC主席的这位部长在一份声明中表示。

KPC在去年就表示正在致力于生产一种新含硫等级原油，美国石油协会重力指标在47度，原油含硫量在1.6%的科威特超轻质原油（Kuwait Super Light）。

Kuwait to export first light crude cargo by end June

Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) has started producing a light crude and the first cargo of the new grade is expected to be exported by the end of June, Kuwait's oil minister Bakhit al-Rashidi said on Wednesday.

This would be the first export of a light crude grade from the OPEC Gulf producer, the minister, who is also chairman of KPC, saying in a statement.

KPC had said last year it was working to produce a new sour grade, Kuwait Super Light, with an API gravity of 47 and a sulphur content of 1.6 percent.
