The volume impact expected Thursday from the continuing unplanned outage at Norway's Kristin gas field is now 7.9 million cu m, Norwegian transmission system operator Gassco said, with the outage set to continue at least into Friday. The day-ahead volume impact is, however, seen lower at 2.1 million cu m, Gassco said. The duration of the outage has been extended to 11-12 days from the start of the event on June 17, though the precise duration remains "uncertain," Gassco said. Gas from Kristin feeds into the Asgard transport system and is processed at the Karsto facility. Norwegian gas flows to the Continental Europe and UK receiving terminals combined were running at 280 million cu m at around 0730 GMT. Flows to the continent were well above those to the UK, running at 227 million cu m and 53 million cu m, respectively.
