墨西哥经济停滞伴随石油和工业产出下降

中国石化新闻网讯 据彭博社8月24日报道称，由于石油和工业产出下降以及服务业活动放缓，墨西哥经济在第二季度停滞不前。

墨西哥国家统计局周五公布，经季节性因素调整后，国内生产总值较上一季度下降0.2％，而第一季度初步估计收缩0.1％，扩张1％。经非季节性因素调整的国内生产总值较上年同期增长2.6％。

虽然由于7月1日选举之前的支出增加，预计今年经济增长速度将快于2017年，但未来的道路远非平稳。国际货币基金组织上个月下调了对墨西哥2019年增长的预测，理由是贸易紧张局势以及北美自由贸易协定和当选总统政策议程的不确定性。

Mexican Economy Stalls With Declines in Oil And Industry Output

Mexico’s economy stalled in the second quarter amid a drop in oil and industrial output and a slowdown in services activity.

Gross domestic product declined 0.2 percent from the previous quarter in seasonally adjusted terms, compared with the preliminary 0.1 percent contraction estimate and a 1 percent expansion in the first quarter, Mexico’s national statistics institute reported on Friday. Non-seasonally adjusted GDP rose 2.6 percent from a year earlier.

While the economy is expected to expand faster this year than in 2017 due to a pickup in spending that preceded the July 1 election, the path ahead is far from smooth. The International Monetary Fund last month cut its forecast for Mexico’s 2019 growth, citing trade tensions as well as uncertainty over the North American Free Trade Agreement and the president-elect’s policy agenda.
