In November 2018 ADNOC has signed a memorandum of understanding with Indian Strategic Petroleum Reserves Ltd (ISPRL). The agreement stipulates that the ISPRL will consider the possibility of storing ADNOC oil in its underground storage facility in Padura, Karnataka in the southwest of India. This agreement followed the final shipment from the initial supply of ADNOC oil for storage at another ISPRL underground storage facility.
