DJ U.S. Crude-Oil Stocks Likely to Rise in DOE Data, Analysts Say
U.S. crude-oil stocks are expected to increase modestly in data due Wednesday from the Department of Energy, according to a survey of analysts and traders by The Wall Street Journal.
Estimates from 11 analysts and traders surveyed showed U.S. oil inventories are projected to have risen by 800,000 barrels, on average, in the week ended March 15. Six of the 11 analysts expect oil stockpiles to rise, while five expect a decline from the previous week. Forecasts range from a decrease of 2.9 million barrels to an increase of 5 million barrels.
