据道琼斯7月22日消息，BP周一表示，公司已与邦吉公司成立了一家合资企业，将在巴西建立一家生物能源公司，从而使得该英国石油公司的生物燃料业务增长50%以上。BP表示，公司将向邦吉公司支付7500万美元以组建各占一半股权的新合资公司，该公司名为BP邦吉生物能源公司。BP表示，合资公司将承担与邦吉公司资产相关的价值7亿美元无追索权债务。该交易预计将在今年第四季度完成，尚需获得监管部门的批准。该公司将使用甘蔗和糖生产乙醇——巴西约70%的汽车可以使用乙醇。除此之外还能利用甘蔗的废弃生物质发电。 庞晓华 摘译自 道琼斯 原文如下： BP Enters Bioenergy Joint Venture With Bunge for $75 Mln BP PLC (BP.LN) said Monday that it has entered a joint venture with Bunge Ltd. (BG) to build a bioenergy company in Brazil, growing the U.K. oil company's biofuels business by more than 50%. The integrated oil-and-gas company said it will pay $75 million to Bunge on the formation of the 50-50 joint venture, which will be known as BP Bunge Bioenergia. BP said the joint venture will assume $700 million worth of nonrecourse debt associated with Bunge's assets. The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of the year, subject to regulatory approval. The company will produce ethanol from sugarcane--around 70% of vehicles in Brazil can run on ethanol--and sugar. It will also be able to produce electricity from the waste biomass of the sugarcane.
