Baker Hughes, a GE company (BHGE) and C3.ai have signed an agreement to create a joint venture specializing in the provision of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions for the oil and gas industry. The joint venture combines BHGE's experience as a leading provider of solutions and services for all stages of the production cycle with C3.ai's AI developments. The partnership between BHGE and C3.ai is aimed at applying existing and creating new technologies for digital transformation, which will provide a new level of productivity for the oil and gas industry. Artificial intelligence is becoming increasingly popular in the industry, as it allows to increase overall productivity, providing processing of large amounts of data, adapting to specific operating environments and predicting problems before they occur. The use of corporate AI systems can increase uptime and reliability, increase production, reduce risks and optimize the production process. A joint venture between BHGE and C3.ai offers the oil and gas industry an operational platform for the rapid implementation of IoT and AI solutions, combining BHGE's experience in oil and gas technology with C3.ai software solutions.
