According to experts, this will help to make proactive forecasts and reduce drilling risks. Among the already implemented innovation projects, the company’s specialists noted the first Russian digital hydraulic fracturing modeling complex (RN-GRID), created in 2017, which allowed for more than 6,500 successful operations. Rosneft was the first Russian service company to import hydraulic fracturing simulation software, a key technology for ensuring and intensifying oil production both in traditional reservoirs and in fields with hard-to-recover reserves. According to the conference participants, the Company owes its innovative achievements to the scientific and design complex of Rosneft. It includes 31 research and design institutes. It was Rosneft’s serious theoretical base that became the basis for a number of inventions and scientific discoveries that made a breakthrough in the oil industry.
