The introduction of state-of-the-art technologies and advanced IT solutions across the entire chain of operations of the company is one of the key priorities of the Rosneft-2022 Strategy. Rosneft pays the foreground attention to innovation and breakthroughs, recognising the technological leadership as an essential element for competitive performance on the oil market. Andrey Nikolayevich Shishkin has been assigned to the position of the Vice-President for Informatization, Innovation, and Localization of the company; he has been a Vice-President at Rosneft Oil Company since 2012. Andrey Shishkin will continue supervising the top-priority projects, such as the improvement of the energy efficiency and development of new technologies, as well as the construction of the Zvezda Shipyard at the Far East.
