The oil giant would sell most of its upstream oil and gas business in Europe, keeping only a stake in the Netherlands, the report said. Exxon Mobil is also looking to sell assets in Indonesia, Malaysia, Chad and Equitorial Guinea, among others, the report said. A spokesman for Exxon Mobil didn't comment specifically on the sale, but did say the company had previously said asset sales could reach $25 billion by 2025, according to the report. |
