凯恩能源计划向伍德赛德石油出售塞内加尔石油项目股权

    中国石化新闻网讯 据道琼斯9月7日消息，凯恩能源公司周一表示，公司将把其在塞内加尔的Rufisque、Sangomar和Sangomar Deep项目40%的股权以至多4亿美元的价格出售给伍德赛德石油公司。凯恩能源表示，在此之前，伍德赛德石油证实，它将行使对该项目的优先购买权。凯恩最初同意将该项目出售给卢克石油公司，前提是伍德赛德不行使其期权。这笔交易必须得到塞内加尔政府的同意和股东的批准。该公司计划周一向股东发布通知，交易预计将在今年第四季度完成。

    Cairn Energy to Sell Senegal Project to Woodside Petroleum for up to $400 Mln

    Cairn Energy PLC said Monday that it is selling its 40% interest in the Rufisque, Sangomar and Sangomar Deep project in Senegal to Woodside Petroleum Ltd. for up to $400 million.

    Cairn said the sale followed Woodside's confirmation that it would exercise its pre-emption rights over the project. Cairn had initially agreed to sell the project to Lukoil PJSC, subject to Woodside not exercising its option.

    The sale is conditional upon consent from the Government of Senegal and shareholder approval.

    The company plans to publish a circular to shareholders Monday, and the deal is expected to complete in the fourth quarter of this year.
