卢克石油欲出售罗马尼亚近海Trident区块股份

    中国石化新闻网讯 据俄罗斯油气网11月17日消息称，罗马尼亚媒体援引罗马尼亚天然气公司（Romgaz）负责人的话称，俄罗斯卢克石油公司（Lukoil）计划出售其在罗马尼亚黑海近海地区EX-3-Trident区块87.8%的股份，罗马尼亚天然气公司拥有该区块12.2%股份。

    罗马尼亚天然气公司首席执行官Adrian Volintiru告诉当地新闻门户网站G4Media：“我们收到了卢克石油公司的这封信。我们将与他们进行讨论，我们尚不知道他们的理由。”

    Volintiru并没有排除罗马尼亚天然气公司与卢克石油公司就收购其在Trident区块的股份进行谈判的可能性。据G4Media称，卢克石油公司已发函，宣布有意将其股份出售给石油和天然气市场的各个参与者。

    2019年10月，罗马尼亚批准卢克石油公司的子公司卢克石油海外公司开始钻探Trident区块。Trident区块由卢克石油公司和罗马尼亚天然气公司运营。罗马尼亚石油和天然气钻探公司Grup Servicii Petroliere将提供钻井设备。

    根据两家公司于2015年发现天然气时发布的地震数据，EX-30 Trident油田的面积可达到39平方公里，天然气储量可超过300亿立方米。

    Lukoil plans to sell stake in Romania's offshore Trident block

    Russian energy corporation Lukoil intends to sell its 87.8% stake in the EX-3-Trident block in Romania's Black Sea offshore area, Bucharest-based media reported quoting the head of Romgaz, which holds a 12.2% stake in the project.

    "We received this letter from Lukoil. We will hold a discussion with them, we don't know their reasons yet," Romgaz CEO Adrian Volintiru told local news portal G4Media.

    Volintiru did not rule out the possibility that Romgaz hold talks with Lukoil on taking over its stake in the Trident perimeter. According to G4Media, Lukoil has sent a letter announcing its intention to sell its stake to various players in the oil and gas market.

    In October 2019, Romania gave Lukoil Overseas Atash. B.V., a Dutch subsidiary of Lukoil, the green light to start drilling the Trident perimeter. The Trident block is being operated by Lukoil and Romgaz. Romanian petroleum and gas drilling company Grup Servicii Petroliere is providing the drilling equipment.

    According to seismic data released in 2015 when the two companies made a gas discovery, the area of the EX-30 Trident field can reach up to 39 sq km and reserves can exceed 30 billion cubic metres of gas.

    Romanian media reported in February that Romgaz is interested in acquiring a 20% stake in Neptun Deep - the offshore gas project in the Black Sea in which ExxonMobil holds a 50% stake. ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Romania Limited (EMEPRL) and Romania's top oil and gas group OMV Petrom hold 50% each of the deep water sector of the Neptun Block. EMEPRL is the operator.
