挪威2月天然气产量上升但销量下降

中国石化新闻网讯 据3月16日Kallanish Energy报道，据挪威石油管理局（NPD）消息，2月份挪威的天然气产量略有增加，大致达到了政府本月的预测水平。

上周公布的最新初步数据显示，2月份天然气日产量达到3.435亿立方米，当记录的产量为3.382亿立方米/天，月环比增幅为1.6%。2月份的产量比本月预测的3.412亿立方米/天低0.7%，比去年同期低5%。数据还显示，3月至5月产量将下降，而在6月将反弹。

NPD没有解释产量预期下降的原因，但欧洲天然气价格最近触及历史低点，原因是供应过剩、季节需求疲弱等因素导致消费进一步中断。天然气价格目前约为每百万英热2美元。

挪威是欧洲第二大天然气供应国。上个月的销售总量为100亿立方米，比1月份减少了5亿立方米。

Norway’s February gas output up, sales down

Norway’s natural gas production increased slightly in February, roughly meeting the government’s forecast for the month, Kallanish Energy learns from the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD).

The latest preliminary data, released last week, show that gas production reached 343.5 million cubic meters per day (Mmcm/d) in February. This is a 1.6% increase month-on-month, when operators recorded an output of 338.2 Mmcm/d.

February’s volumes were 0.7% below the 341.2 Mmcm/d forecast for the month, but 5% lower than the same month a year earlier. The data also indicates that production will drop from March to May, rebounding in June.

The NPD didn’t explain the reason for the expected fall in output, but European gas prices have hit historic lows recently, on the back of oversupply, weak season demand and further consumption disruption due to the coronavirus pandemic. Gas prices are currently trading at around $2 per million British thermal units.

Norway is the second largest gas supplier to Europe. Last month’s sales totaled 10 billion cubic meter, which is 0.5 Bcm lower than in January.
